March 6th - Genetic Academic Sessions

Topic: “Familial ALS with FUS mutations has compromised alternative splicing and autoregulation - a mechanism of rare disease with broad implication?”

After this session, participants will be able to:
Understand the genetics bases of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
Describe the mechanism of FUS autoregulation through alternative splicing.
Discuss the significance of dysregulated FUS autoregulation in ALS-FUS pathogenesis and its therapeutic implication..
