August 31 - Deadline for Simon and Sarah Israels Graduate Thesis Prize

August 31 - Deadline to apply for Simon and Sarah Israels Graduate Thesis Prize worth $2000

Graduate student must have:
- supervisor much hold appointment as Senior Scientist or Research Affiliate Scientist at the MICB
- successfully completed a MSc or PhD at the University of Manitoba between Sept 2013 - Aug 2014

August 31st - Deadline for Simon and Sarah Israels Graduate Thesis Prize

The Simon and Sarah Israels Graduate Thesis Prize is an award of $2,000 for the best thesis submitted by a Graduate student at MICB.

Eligibility: All Graduate students whose supervisors hold appointments as a Senior Research Scientist or Research Affiliate Scientist at MICB and who have successfully completed a program of studies leading to a Master or Ph.D. degree at UofM in Sept 2012 - Aug 2013.

Submit three unbound copies to Cecile by August 31st.

August 31 - Simon and Sara Israels Graduate Thesis Prize

All Graduate students whose supervisors hold appointments as a Senior Research Scientist or Research Affiliate Scientist at the Manitoba Institute of Cell Biology and who have successfully completed a program of studies leading to a Master or Ph.D. degree at the University of Manitoba in the year prior to the granting of the award (Sept 2012 - Aug 2013) are eligible for this $2000 prize.

Submit an unbound copy to Cecile Verrier in the main office.

Simon and Sarah Israels Graduate Thesis Prize

All graduate students who have successful completed either their MSc or PhD between Sept/11 - Aug/12 and were supervised by an MICB Senior Scientist or Research Affiliate Scientist are eligible to compete for the Simon and Sarah Israels Graduate Thesis Prize. Please submit an unbound copy of your thesis to Cecile Verrier before August 31st for consideration. The award is worth $2000 for the best thesis of the year.
