September 26-28th - MICB Annual Retreat at the Lakeview Resort and Conference Center in Gimli, Manitoba.
This year's theme is "Metastasis and Relapse" with Ann Chambers and Sean Egan as our invited speakers.

Deadline for registration is August 29th with Cecile Verrier.

A sign-up sheet is posted at the office for those who require or are willing to provide transportation to the Lakeview Resort.

- successfully completed a MSc or PhD at the University of Manitoba between Sept 2013 - Aug 2014

Recruiting trainees for Katyal lab

Dr Sachin Katyal is recruiting a post-doctoral fellow to look at DNA damage repair responses in the development of novel cancer therapeutic strategies. The lab is CIHR and MHRC funded and offers an exciting research intensive training environment with ample opportunity for growth and development.
MSc students with prior research training are preferred.
Postdocs with a minimum of 1-2 research publications are preferred.
