All Manitoba students, residents, BSc Meds, graduate students and post-docs working on research related to cancer and blood disorders are welcome to submit their abstracts. An applicant can submit a maximum of one (1) oralorone (1) poster application and must be available for the poster judging session.
Funding is available from CancerCare Manitoba Foundation to a RIOH trainee to cover costs for attending a national and/or international scientific meeting in 2017.
Application Evaluation Criteria:
Trainee must be a full-time Graduate Student, Medical Student, Clinical Fellow or Post Doctoral Fellow supervised by a RIOH Scientist
Graduate student’s GPA, fellow’s or medical student’s research track record
Type of presentation (oral vs poster)
Type of conference (regional, national, international)
